Rain to Sun at the Hops and Barley Festival

Friday night I was worried about the rain and potential for a very muddy and cold saturday at the Hops and Barley Festival at Westchester Commons.  Saturday came and it was raining early so i presumed the worst. I packed my rain coat, doubled up on layers and took off my socks. 

It was muddy and standing water with clouds overhead. How will people react to our wood sunglasses on a rainy/cloudy day? There was an uphill battle but when there is craft brews and music, I always feel optimistic. 

Soon the band started and people got into the field and began their journey to find the best brew. The sun started to peek out and it was getting nicer and nicer until around 3pm it was a beautiful sunny and now warm day. PLANK had some great neighbors selling whiskey soaked cigars and Strangeways brewery on the other side. All in all it turned out to be a great day!
