Pirates and heat

Wow, it was hot at the Blackbeard Pirate Festival in Hampton this past weekend. Sunny and hot with 1 hour of rain (much welcomed).  I did not get a chance to check out the festivities but I was right next to the stage for bands. I heard many sea shanty's and learned more about the history of sea shanty's. Great day for wood sunglasses. I can only imagine that if pirates had worn wood glasses they would be of the wood variety. Arrgghhh!
